What is a Technical Endorsement, and who needs it?
Technical coverage can be extended to training and diving activities that exceed traditional program parameters. Recreational technical diving is that which is not commercial and automatically specifies diving under the following conditions:• Depth to 300 FSW
• Breathing Gas: EAN 40 percent oxygen or more and other mixed gases
• Planned Decompression
Anyone who teaches or supervises technical diving activities should have this endorsement.
